I started collecting these quotations for and about best friends way before "besties" was even a word, heck, even way before the already antiquated BFF. In fact, The Quote Garden was the first website to offer a section devoted to best friend quotes. But no matter the vocabulary, the sentiments are the still the same as they were years ago. And just like friendships, words will either grow better with time or fade away. Here I present a compilation of quotes that I hope plucks a heartstring whether the author is from centuries past or centuries anew. I love my friends! —teᖇᖇ¡♥g, March 2014
